This is the incredible story of what happened to a brave little boy named Steven. He was kidnapped in the 1960's at the age of 7 by a man posing as a priest. The man took him away from his family into a secluded cottage, made him believe that he contacted his parents and they said that they he was to live with him now, and sexually abused him for years and years. He changed the boys name and everything, so no one would ever find him. The boy grew up believeing his lies, because no one ever told him any different.
But as he began to hit puberty, the man lost interest in him, and he kidnapped another boy who was 5. Steven was 14 at the time. Once he saw that this man was telling the boy the same lies he'd told him, he got suspicious. So while the man was at work, he took the little boy and fled to the town he had been taken from. He then took him to the police station and they were both reunited with their families.
I think what Steven did was very courageous. The sad part is, he only spent another 9 years with his family, and then he died in a motorcycle accident...

What ticked me off is the "priest" got off so easily. He was sentenced for 7 years, yet only did 5 for good behavior. I think it should have been life without the possibility of parole. And many charges were dropped. The only good thing is the "priest" is dead, and hopefully, is rotting in Hell. Rest in peace Steven.
Is anyone else upset that people punish Steven for being related to a criminal - Steven didnt do anything wrong but hes being punished because of what his brother did
