I actually understand what little Megan went through. As a child and teen, I also got bullied and picked on and made fun of just because I was overweight and shy.
It's murder because it was more than a mean joke. These people (an adult or two included) knew Megan suffered from depression and they knew that she took medication for it. Still they played this cruel cruel joke on her.

The adults might not have actually "killed" her, but them knowing she suffered from depression, and saying all those mean and hurtful things about her after having her believe a lie about a boy liking her was INEXCUSABLE! They not only drove a young teenage girl past her breaking point, in my eyes, they also caused two parents who were already grieving over the loss of their daughter to divorce. Those people are evil...pure and simple. I hope they feel lower then scum for the rest of their lives for what they did.
Rest in Peace, Megan. I'm sorry that you went through so much.

That's terrible!
How can a "responsible adult" let something like that happen (the neighbor's parents I mean)?
And after that I read, "It does not appear that there will be criminal charges filed in connection with Megan's death. "We did not have a charge to fit it," McGuire says. "I don't know that anybody can sit down and say, 'This is why this young girl took her life.'"
