And until just recently, her family was under a heavy cloud of suspicion as the ones who killed her. Hopefully with this new DNA evidence, the real killer(s) will be found, if they are still alive, and prosecuted to the maximum extent. I hope they get death. Rest in Peace Angel!
Neither can anyone else unless you weren't around or have been sleeping under a rock for the past 10 years. It's a shame Judith's story isn't well known.

Look at the bright side...her name has not been drug through the media as bad as JonBenet's
Judith wouldnt want Maria to have gone through what Patsy did...niether mother deserved that...

True, but I almost guarantee you if you ask a random person who's Judith, they'll be like who's that? Ask the same person who's JonBenet, and it's a different story. I wish JonBenet's name didn't get dragged through the media and tabloids, but at least people know about her. Ask anyone outside this community who's Judith Barsi, and I'm sure most people won't have any idea, and that's really sad. Personally, I think one of the reasons why JonBenet's name is mentioned so often is cause her murderer is still out there, and whereas in Judith's case, her father committed suicide after killing her and his wife. If Judith's killer was unknown and still out there, then it'd probably be a different story. And you're right, Patsy didn't deserve to live her last years in constant scrutiny by the Boulder Police Dept, or the entire world. None of the Ramsey's deserved to have their faces plastered in the media's spotlight.

I never had an problem with JonBenet, and I don't know why people wouldn't like her as she was just like any other child. I just don't like the fact JonBenet is better well known than Judith. Don't they both deserve to be remembered equally? Even if she wasn't murdered and just dies of natural causes, she would still be deserving to be remembered.

Well it is what it is...but there is several hours of Judith media out there...and the complete JonBenet media is only 11 minutes.
I do like the fact that a Judith tribute is a bit more rare than a JonBenet one...it makes each of them more special.
A lament to the fact that there are well known pagent girls out there...like Swan Brooner and others like her that have become stars with legitamate fans in thier own rights are still overshadowed by JonBenet who only attended 9 pagents in her life...and her name is synominous with overdone make-up...while hers was usually done tastefully.
I remember when I first heard about JonBenet's death. I was living in a different apartment at the time and I was laying sideways on my bed reading a book. My apartment at the time didnt have a proper door between my bedroom and the living room, just a space in the wall, and I heard about a murder on the news in the living room TV. I look up to see this beautiful, sweet little girl. My heart completely went out to her

No, I meant JonBenet has more news coverage. I was talking about news coverage. I just wished Judith could've been remembered by more people. Any child who has died deserves to be remembered.

At least we can say that JonBenet never made the front page of an LA newspaper...but she did make 90 some front pages of Colorado papers.
and countless tabliods
We are having a discussion over at JonBenet.com about how Judith's story makes for a better movie...and it would be alot better than Perfect Murder Perfect Town.

I think it's awful her killing made worse as she was beauty queen I don't agree with the way these young girls are made to look a lot older than their yrs

I agree completely. I think today's generation is growing up too quickly, and they need to slow down, and enjoy being a kid. ;D I would love to go back to being one on certain days, and not have so many responsibilities.
