Christopher Byers, Michael Moore and Stevie Branch were all 8 years old when they were murdered and dumped at Robin Hood Hills in West Memphis.
3 teenagers were charged with their murder but a lot of people (including myself) think they aren't the real killers. There is a website for the west memphis three, and a documentary called Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills. Other than that, there isn't much about Christopher, Michael and Stevie.
Hopefully one day their can be some conclusive evidence to prove who killed them. After reading Devil's Knot, watching the documentary about the murders and reading on the internet, I don't think the real killers have been caught and it's terrible that not only have 3 men (Damein, Jason and Jessie) been imprisioned for so many years without any real conclusie evidence, but the killer(s) is still out there.

Ive never exactly seen the "West Memphis Three" story in the view of the younger victims...but we do know the killer...it was Terry Hobbs...we just have to wait for the courts to admit they were wrong and get a new trial...this was the worst court case in history.

One of my FB groups is dedicated to the West Memphis Three teenagers, and here's more to the story, and just goes to show you just how messed up our judicial system really is: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2214648272&ref=ts . From the looks of things, it looks like Damien Echols, who's currently waiting the death sentence, may get a re-trial, or be set free due to new DNA evidence that's coming into light. I'm hoping that all 3 are set free, and I think some compensation would be in order. So far, they've been behind bars for nearly 14 years for crimes they didn't commit.

This is weird...but I brought up the WM3 in a thread over at JonBenet's true crime section...and hardly anybody knew who they were...But here we have a few of us that follow this and have for a while...Ive seen the HBO documentarys on them more than ten years ago...and have read updates online...this break in the case was big news...but will they get that new trial?

The WM3 site said that they expected some delays.
It's so disgusting that the police based so much on the way they dressed, there likes, etc. One of the things that shocks me most is the way they tricked Jessie in to confessing. His IQ is so low that he is pretty much disabled. They spent hours grooming him, getting him to say way they wanted to hear. And there were still major flaws in his "confession".
I read that Jessie asked his lawyer once who "Satin" was. It took his lawyer awhile to realise Jessie meant Satan. How can the police say this was a devil worship crime, yet one of the guys didn't even know who Satan was, he couldn't even pronounce it!
Aaron Hutchenson and his mother are prominent in the book. Aaron's mother took it upon herself to be an investigator, but nowdays she says she's really sorry and doesn't believe the boys killed them. I don't know what she and the police did to little Aaron though, he was friend with the boys who were murdered and his story changed from being there, to eventually saying there were buckets of blood and he was forced to castrate Christopher.
Plus, the Bojangles man. The police lost the scraping of blood on the wall...yeah right, more like they intentionally threw it out so it couldn't be used.
